Hello, it's nice to meet you! I am Rebekah (or Bex): lover of coffee, Sunday night slow jams, and streetwear. I enjoy changing my hair color, going on random photoshoots, and painting my favorite rappers on denim jackets. I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, but now living the dream in Chicago, IL working as a stylist for Trunk Club! I am passionate about people, mental health, social issues, and the relationship between art, music, and fashion. (Read my blog post here to see why I joined the fashion industry). I also think it is important to give glory to God and recognize that I would not be here without Jesus. He has profoundly impacted my perspectives on fashion, mental health, and social justice. I feel called to show everyone love; the unconditional love from God and tangible ways to love yourself and love others. I am so excited to go through this journey of reflection and learning with you. This blog explores my life in the city, everywhere from fashion advice and the aesthetically pleasing spaces I find to my perspective on mental health and ways to get involved in the community.
